Government announced a reduction in the prices of petroleum products.

 

Federal Finance Minister and Senator Ishaq Dar announced a reduction in the prices of petroleum products, the new prices will be applicable from 12 midnight.


According to the announcement made by the Federal Finance Minister on Wednesday 31st May, petrol has become cheaper by Rs 8, diesel by Rs 5 and light diesel by Rs 5 per litre, while the price of kerosene has been maintained.

While announcing the new prices of petroleum products, the finance minister said that the value of the rupee has not decreased against the dollar, but still efforts have been made to improve as much as possible in terms of providing relief to the people. He should be brought.

Diesel

The finance minister said that the price of diesel has been reduced by Rs 5 per liter from Rs 258 per liter to Rs 253 per litre. He said that after the last price change (May 16) and this time, the price of diesel has decreased by 35 rupees.

Petrol

Ishaq Dar said that petrol, which was earlier Rs 270 per litre, has now been reduced to Rs 262 per litre. He further said that if we look at the previous reduction and this reduction in this way, the people have got a total relief of 20 rupees in the price of fuel during 2 weeks.

Light diesel

The finance minister said that the price of light diesel has been reduced by Rs 5 this time, while overall, its price has been reduced by Rs 17 in 2 weeks. He further said that the price of light diesel will now be Rs 147 68 paise per litre.

Kerosene oil

Regarding the price of kerosene, Ishaq Dar said that there is no change in its price this time and it will remain at Rs 164 7 paise per liter for the next 15 days.

It should be noted that the new prices of petroleum products will be applicable from 12 midnight.
